Empowering Lives Through Better Hearing
Modern hearing aids are available in a wide range of styles, carefully designed to suit different levels of hearing loss, lifestyle preferences, and aesthetic considerations. Options include versatile and powerful behind-the-ear (BTE) models, which are suitable for a variety of hearing needs, as well as in-the-ear (ITE) and in-the-canal (ITC) styles that provide a more discreet fit. For those prioritizing subtlety, completely-in-canal (CIC) and invisible-in-canal (IIC) devices are the smallest and most inconspicuous, blending seamlessly with natural ear contours.
No matter the style, today’s hearing aids feature cutting-edge technology, including digital sound processing, wireless connectivity, and customizable fittings, ensuring a seamless and comfortable user experience. With so many innovative options, users can easily find a solution that perfectly aligns with their hearing requirements and lifestyle.
There Are The Three Main Types of Hearing Aids
Receiver In Canal (RIC)
A Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing aid places the speaker in the ear canal, connected by a thin wire to the main device behind the ear. Ideal for mild to severe hearing loss, RIC aids deliver natural sound with reduced "plugged-up" sensations for a comfortable, discreet fit. RIC hearing aids are highly versatile, making them an excellent choice for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss. They allow natural sounds to blend seamlessly with amplified audio, providing clarity and comfort in a wide range of listening environments.
Custom In The Canal (ITC)
An In-the-Canal (ITC) hearing aid is a custom-designed device that fits partially within the ear canal, providing a more discreet appearance compared to larger styles. Tailored for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss, ITC hearing aids strike the perfect balance between subtlety and performance, offering powerful sound amplification in a compact design.
An Invisible-in-Canal (IIC) hearing aid is the smallest and most discreet custom-fit device, positioned deep within the ear canal to remain virtually undetectable. Perfect for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss, IIC devices deliver excellent sound quality while prioritizing maximum discretion. However not all ear shapes can accommodate the IIC and if you require these, we will always guide you on realistic options
