Patrick O'Leary
Audiologist
Audiologist FdSc. H.A.A F.I.S.H.A.A
Patrick joined the practice in March of 2019. Patrick holds an Fd. Sc in Hearing Aid Audiology from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. He was the first certified Audiologist in Ireland to fit a Lyric device. He qualified in both the Jobson Horn method and pro-pulse ear irrigation for wax removal and achieved this with Aston University in May 2014. He is also qualified in both micro suction and irrigation for wax removal.
Patrick holds huge importance on rehabilitation after fittings. His ethos is that good advice and support are a must for hearing aids to be successful.
Cian Daly
Audiologist
Cian joined the practice in 2012 and is a qualified hearing aid audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. He holds a Fd. Sc. In Hearing Aid Audiology with distinction from Aston University, Birmingham. He further holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from A.C.U. in Texas. He is certified for Lyric fitting techniques. He holds BSA certificates in Otoscopy, Impression Taking and Industrial Audiometry as well as a certificate from Phonak in the professional development course on ear wax removal.
Margaret Kennedy
Front of House
Margaret has been with the practice for over twenty-five years and manages the front of house. One of Margaret’s key attributes is that she knows our patients by name and never forgets a face. Margaret’s calm, courteous and professional manner are commented on by all who meet her.

Jillian Furlong
Administrator
Jillian joined the practice in April 2023 taking on the role of administrator. She is a versatile professional who has worked in different fields. Jillian is a qualified solicitor having worked in the legal profession for over 14 years.
She is also a fitness instructor with a passion for health and wellness. Jillian’s diverse background has taught her the importance of adaptability and effective communication with a commitment to professionalism and excellent customer care.

About Our Practice
Fergusons Hearing Aid Clinic is an independent family owned hearing aid audiology practice based in Limerick City Centre serving the entire mid-west region. Fergusons prides itself on independence allowing for the prescribing and recommending of the most appropriate hearing aids irrespective of the manufacturer. Fergusons is the only Hearing Aid Audiology practice in Ireland to have been awarded the prestigious AIHHP Centre of Excellence.
Since Fergusons opened in 1967 in Limerick it has grown with the city and people of the region. As the practice grew more space was needed and the current premises was purchased and renovated in 2002. There is convenient parking close by in car parks and on the street. Also the train and bus station is approximately 8 minutes walk.
One of the best Assessment and Hearing aid Fitting systems in Ireland and UK
The Astera 2 Audiometer and Speech-in-Quiet and Speech-in-Noise Testing System, along with the Aurical Hearing Test System, Free Fit Real Ear Measurement System and a Surround Sound 5.1 Router are used in the Clinic Test Rooms. This state-of-the-art equipment provides a very detailed and comprehensive analysis of hearing loss, allowing for the prescription and fitting of the most appropriate hearing aids and can reproduce real life environments in the clinic allowing the Hearing Aid Audiologist to get the best response from the patient’s hearing aids.
Video Otoscope Camera
The main clinic in Limerick has two fully equipped sound treatment assessment rooms including soundproof booths for hearing assessment and video otoscopic cameras for ear examination. Continuing Education is a high priority for the audiologist team who regularly attend meetings and conferences in Ireland, Europe and the US.
